The Edinburgh PSRP team delivered papers the Association of Human Rights Conference 2018, hosted by The Global Justice Academy, at the end of last week.
The conference featured the Edinburgh launch of the Political Settlements Research Programme’s PA-X Peace Agreements Database, was anchored by numerous plenary panel sessions with human rights leaders from around the world, and was closed by Anna (Anne) Eleanor Roosevelt.
Recordings will be available shortly for:
- ‘The Inclusion Project’ with PSRP Director Christine Bell, Ian Martin, and Charlie Jeffrey, launching the PA-X Peace Agreements Database;
- ‘Challenges to Human Rights in Times of Transition’, with Christine Bell, Francesca Klug, Jacquelyn MacLennan, and Michael O’Flaherty.
- ‘Moving Forward in Times of Transition’, with Kasey McCall-Smith, Alan Miller, Elizabeth Salmon, and Rhona Smith.
- The final address, ‘Nevertheless, She Persisted’, delivered by Anne Roosevelt.
